Digital X-rays allow our team to capture detailed images of your teeth, roots, jawbone, and surrounding structures quickly. These images help Dr. Chokshi identify concerns that may not be visible during a visual exam, including cavities between teeth, bone changes, infections, impacted teeth, and other dental issues.
Because digital images appear on a computer screen, they can be reviewed closely and explained more clearly during your visit. Dr. Chokshi can zoom in on certain areas, compare images over time, and show you what she sees so you have a better understanding of your oral health.
Digital X-rays also reduce the need for traditional film and chemical processing. They are a useful part of preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dental care.
An intraoral camera is a small handheld camera that captures close-up images inside your mouth. This tool helps our team view areas that can be difficult to see clearly with the eye alone, including the back teeth, gumline, worn restorations, cracks, and areas of buildup.
One of the biggest benefits of an intraoral camera is patient education. If we notice a cracked tooth, worn filling, gum concern, or other issue, we can show you the image and explain what it means. This can make treatment recommendations easier to understand because you are not relying only on a verbal explanation.
These images may also be helpful for documentation and communication with insurance providers when needed.

The iTero scanner allows our team to create digital impressions of your teeth and gums without traditional putty trays. Using optical scanning technology, the iTero captures a detailed 3D model of your mouth that can be viewed on screen.
These scans can support treatment planning for Invisalign, crowns, bridges, dental implants, and other restorative or cosmetic treatments. They may also help reduce the need for retakes compared with traditional impressions and can make the process more comfortable for patients who dislike impression material.
Because patients can view their scans in real time, the iTero scanner also helps make conversations about alignment, bite, tooth wear, and treatment options easier to follow.
